“SYSTEM SIGMA 2” unit definitely eliminates the suction and air buildup problems in every type and capacity of non-self-priming pumps, especially “Centrifugal” pumps. We offer a perfect and proven solution for the pumps that should operate continuously without air buildup, that hinder your production due to uncontrolled air buildup in normal conditions without any apparent reason, that are hardly started up after power failures and fluctuations and after controlled stops, and that are required to reach full capacity within 2 to 20 seconds in case of any emergency.

It creates a sudden powerful and net suction within 2 to 20 seconds in pumps of a suction pipe diameter of 1” to 24” by supplying a vacuum of up to 9 m depth (745 mm Hg) (provided that it operates at the suction design values of the pumps).

As an auxiliary power source, a 7-bar air, water or steam flow and a 220 V electric supply are used in standard types for only 2 to 5 seconds during pump start-up.

The need for a bottom suction flap on the pump suction circuit is eliminated. (This saves maintenance time and material and does not hinder your production.)

In order to convert conventional and non-Self-Priming pumps to SELF-PRIMING pumps, vacuum pumps are added to the system by spending an amount almost equal to the half of, or sometimes higher than, the pump cost. With "SYSTEM SIGMA 2", SELF PRIMING is achieved by a much easier, cheaper and simpler method.

"SYSTEM SIGMA 2" is the ideal and cheapest solution for the pumps which should immediately activate in EMERGENCY conditions (e.g. all types of fire pumps: diesel, electric, mobile, etc.).

Where there is no auxiliary power source, "SYSTEM SIGMA 2" can operate with the same level of performance by utilizing the exhaust gases of engine-driven (diesel and gasoline) mobile pumps in place of pressurized air (this is achieved with a special circuit design).

220 V power source near the pump (it will be used only for start-up and for pressostat and electro-pneumatic valve in the system.)

7-bar pressurized air, water or steam near the pump with a minimum flowrate of 200 l/m according to the type and size of the pump and suction pipe diameter.

The type of ejector and the amount of air and water needed are determined and then the suitable type of SYSTEM SIGMA 2 unit is decided by us in accordance with the type and capacity of the pump onto which the unit is mounted, the diameter and length of the suction pipe, the fluid type and the pump speed.

The unit is delivered as a package complete with the mounting plan and wiring diagram for easy mounting of the unit and then the unit is mounted and commissioned by us, if desired.
